Wale Dada started an outcry for good governance and a better Nigeria with the release of his first album in the year 2002 titled Ọ̀RỌ̀ RÈÉ 3333, meaning, “here is the word”. He stressed the happenings in the nation’s history starting from what happened in the southwest of Nigeria in 1963 Operation Wet (WETI ẸẸ) when a lot of lives and properties were destroyed in the fracas that broke up from the result of the census and preparation of the year ahead of the election. The second “3” was about what happened in 1983 when the military regime took over the government from the then-democratic government. The third “3” was about the annulled June 12 elections in 1993. The last “3” laid emphasis on the 2003 elections telling Nigerians to be careful so that the 2003 election would not go the way others i.e. 1963, 1983, 1993 had been.
In 2003 after the elections, Wale Dada released another album titled OBE ÒṢÈLÚ meaning “Dividends of Democracy”. This was full of messages to our leaders reminding them of the hopes and aspirations of the masses that went out to vote for them despite the heavy downpour of rain. They are the first beneficiary of the dividends of democracy so they should spread it out to the masses through good governance and mass-oriented programs stressed Wale Dada in his song. In 2007, when violence became the order of the day, Adewale Dada “The Good” released another album titled “PEACE IN NIGERIA” campaigning for peace to reign telling the leaders who are supposed to be our servant-leaders not to turn the country into a battlefield just for them to grasp power. His latest album that is making waves in town is titled “NAIJA ÒSÌ MÁ ṢÀN” which is a message of hope to all Nigerians and imploring the stakeholders to conduct a free and fair election in the year 2011.
Adewale Dada “the Good” initiated an NGO called THE GOOD NIGERIA INITIATIVE on February 6th, 2011. THE GOOD NIGERIA INITIATIVE, (TGNI) is a non-governmental organization conceived by Wale Dada with an initiative to imbibe in every Nigerian an attitude of being good and mindful of our neighbors, our society, and the country at large. This will be achieved when there is a positive re-orientation of every Nigeria’s mentality about “The Good Nigeria” This will change by being our brother’s keeper, helping out the masses who cannot afford a day’s meal, the school children whose parent can’t afford tuition fees, thousand of graduates in Nigeria seeking job opportunity and helping the less privileged with the basic amenities of life such as clothes, shelter, and food. The initiative is all about keeping Nigerian’s hope alive, telling, and helping them to believe in the future of Nigeria so as to make our country Nigeria the country of our dreams.
Also, due to his selfless and humane strife for the masses, He was appointed a member of the Board of Directors, Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC) in the month of February 2012.
In furtherance to Adewale Dada's good heart and envisages for a better Nigeria as well as a deep love for his people, He voluntarily released himself for service to humanity by contesting as an honorable in the Ogun State House of Assembly in 2015. After a series of political influences and hindrances, He was advised to step down. Being a man of peace and goodwill at heart, He accepted because he is of the ideology that politics is not a do-or-die affair. As an unrelenting sage for change, He pushes further to be the mouthpiece of his people at Ado-Odo Ota local government by contesting as the Chairman of Ado-Odo Ota local government but as fate would have it, He was pleaded and advice to cut-off the ambition again under the ruling party All Progressive Congress (APC).
As a man's gift will which always make way for him, He was appointed and sworn in as the Secretary to the Local government of Ado-Odo Ota Local Government on the 15th of May, 2017 to the 31st of May, 2018.
